    Pros

Exceptional co-workers, competitive benefits and salary. Fast-paced but team members are more than willing to teach. Team Leads are great managers and very supportive in excelling their staff.

I have been working at Associated Veterans full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Good salary, likeable owner, fair. Management overhead is minimal.

    Cons

Contractual arrangements typically don't allow for telecommuting options. If (when) the Government shuts down, pay stops. The Company does not carry a bench - not even for one day. The Company is too concentrated in one agency. When contracts aren't renewed, there's no place to move to and you're out on the street.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Consider some sort of short term pay arrangement to cover uncontrolable events such as a government shutdown.

Associated Veterans does not secure enough contracts to allow diverse talents into its realm.

I have been working at Associated Veterans as a contractor (more than an year)

    Pros

There are some talented IT contractors working in the organization.

    Cons

Associated Veterans frowns upon telecommuting and promotions appear to be based upon likeability, as opposed to talent.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Allowing your personnel to telecommute fosters allegiance and creates happy workers.

    Neutral Outlook
