Great place to start young

Administrative Assistant (Current Employee)
New York, NY

I have been working at Association of the Bar of the City of New York full-time for more than 5 years

ProsOverall, this is a great place to start young and gain experience. Managers are always willing to give out extra work etc. Very flexible on many levels and relaxed atmosphere.

ConsThe pay isn't that great compared to other nonprofits. Over worked and overlooked when it comes to growth.

Advice to Senior ManagementReally consider the staffs work load and needs. And it wouldn't hurt to give a raise that you couldn't actually see in your paycheck.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend

Stuck in the past

ProsGood family and work balance. There is some liberty to be innovative and develop projects on your own if you are an independent person.

ConsStuck in the past. Needs an update and to care about employers. Salary is pretty low but thats what you get for a non profit.
