Great place to get in from outside the insurance industry. They hire a lot of individuals from outside the industry because the pay less than competitors and have a tough time retaining employees.

Cons

On your own...extremely high turn over rate both terminations and resignations

Be open to feedback, that means negative feedback as well.

Pros

Management really cares and communicates with employees. It's just a great place to work. The benefits are excellent, they even have a fully employer paid retirement plan and an excellent 401K plan where they contribute a certain amount and after 5 years that employer contribution is doubled.

Cons

Career advancement but it is due to the place or location where I work. The headquarters is in Kansas City, MO so there are more opportinities there. The facility that I work at is a flat facility with not many opportunities to advance. However, I am able to apply for other positions across the U.S.
