    Pros

It's the braves, and it's awesome to work for the Braves

    Cons

Pandering people. Placement and moving up in the company seems to be based upon relationships rather than skill

    Pros

I worked as a Guest Relations Rep, on a team of about 8-10 people. Everyone got along for the most part, and our supervisors, Hannah and Erin ROCKED! They were very accommodating and really made sure that the team was taken care of. Training was easy and straightforward.

    Cons

--The Pay --When innings go long, it can be pretty tiring. There were many times I went home exhausted and my feet on fire.

    Advice to Management

Maybe offer extra monetary incentives for the longer hours?

    Pros

The fans are the best despite the drunk and sometimes rude ones. I loved most of my co workers also, but that the same for most jobs.

    Cons

Management needs a mass improvement. Also respect among employees is a problem. Adults should act as such and leave childish ways at home.

    Advice to Management

My advice for management is to not take the old problems from the old stadium and transfer all of the same bad habits into the new stadium.

fun to be in the environment of baseball fans. get to watch every home game and certain events held at Turner Field

    Cons

low pay depending on your department job can get boring especially the 3 hrs before the game have to deal with drunk people lol

    Advice to Management

raise the pay, especially for those that have been there for years.

    Pros

Awesome people to work with. Everybody is treated equally meaning that everybody has each other's back all the time. Fun environment to work in. Tons of people to meet (average game about 20,000 attendance) Great opportunities to meet famous people. (local, international and superstars) Good hours, can work in multiple areas within your department. Poker chips, used for all sorts of recognition and can be used to get MLB and team items from a specialized store at discounted pricing. (or if you have enough chips, for free) Also plays into, if you work hard and stand out you get the recognition and there are a ton of opportunities for that.

    Cons

Really drunk people. Stability of hours. You're only working home games and very occasional events if asked to do so. Unless you are a trainee or supervisor, you're not getting paid much more than minimum wage. You only work home games, so your schedule is already set, and there are times when you gets weeks off of work. So if it's your only job, you're not making much considering the varying hours. A game can last for a few hours, or almost all night long.

    Advice to Management

Management doesn't need to change. It's great and they all do a great job.

    Pros

It's a great work environment! The office is fun and very friendly. Working at one of the best ballparks (Turner Field) in the MLB is a big plus. The benefits are great! We get all of the holiday's off and the best part is the office shuts down for the last 11 or so days of the year for Christmas (paid time off on top of your vacation time).

    Cons

81 home games makes for a long season ( but that's babseball). There isn't a clear cut growth path.

    Advice to Management

Continue to listen to your staff and grow from there.

  10. Hourly employee

    Pros

Great environment, happy people who have a great love for the Braves. Flexible schedule scheduling during season

    Cons

Pay is poor and does not increase. Temporary employment

    Advice to Management

Easier said than done, but a pay increase is needed. Other baseball teams have done it for their game day staff.

    Pros

As a gameday worker, the job is a lot of fun and you meet tons of new people. I basically point people in the right direction whether it be to their seats, finding bathrooms, beer, funnel cakes, or any other item you can imagine. My goal is to make people smile and make their experience at Turner Field unforgettable.

    Cons

They don't pay much, but that will probably increase over the years. My job requires me to stand almost the whole time, which is anywhere from 6-9 hours, your legs get tired during long 10 game homestands.
