I really enjoyed working there. If the store had not closed I would still be there.

    I worked at Atlanta Bread

    Pros

The people, hands down. Both the other employees, and the guests.

    Cons

When it got busy and we didn't have enough help. Training was enjoyable however, sometimes we would train for an opposite shift, and the trainees would then not be prepared for what they actually were going to be doing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If there could have been some changes made, I think the number one thing would have been communication from one shift to the next. That would have been it easier to continue on a project that another team member started.

    Cons

They owner's didn't budget correctly, had a lot of product go to waste, money would be missing.

I have been working at Atlanta Bread

    Pros

Free drinks whenever you want it & 50% discount on meals while at work

    Cons

My 'training' experience was a disaster. Both managers, one being the GM, were in no way helpful. I basically trained myself and a few select co-workes showed me the ropes. They don't tell you when you're off, only when to come in, didn't tell me my pay or the days we get paid on.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make sure the managers are TRAININGS the associates. The employees shouldn't train each other. I should know an expected time to be off and I should know my pay and when to expect it.
