    Pros

Compressed schedule is great for skiing, camping, fishing, or any activity that is better without the large weekend crowds. The amount of vacation time on compressed shifts is very good.

    Cons

Fab is old and money is not being spent to modernize equipment. Advancing employees careers is not a high priority. Layoffs have been frequent. Age of fab and equipment does not allow the company to attract high level talent.

    Advice to Management

Improve 6 sigma controls in the process. Get training for process engineering and technicians across the board.

    Pros

The company has some good products but does not know how to make money like some of its competitors.

    Cons

The company is floundering from a strategic standpoint. They have a major strategic change every 2 to 3 years, so it goes around in circles without making much financial progress. The revenue has been declining for several years. The company makes a fraction of the profits that its competitors do.

    Advice to Management

Replace the CEO or merge with another successful semiconductor company.

    Pros

Place to learn and explore Employees are friendly in general Nice building

    Cons

Turn over is very high which makes working here very tough. Also, employees are overloaded with projects in addition to their routine work. Hard to keep employees. Overall pay is low in comparison to current job market.

    Advice to Management

Put aside favoritism and take good care of employees. Give employees fair amount of work and not overload them. Provide training to employees in particular new hires to help them get up to speed.

    Pros

RSU's were pretty good. Nice location. Good cafeteria and some good people working there.

    Cons

Raises were low and always looking over your shoulder for knives in your back. People are cut throat to get ahead.People that do a good job are under appreciated.

    Advice to Management

Appreciate your people more. Remember they are people and they hold the future of the company by their loyalty. The values that are taught to follow seem to be lost on upper management.

    Pros

Good people, experienced colleagues, with a lot of knowledge. Working on challenging projects. While the fab is obsolete and company has not invested in it for years, it is well run and produces relatively a lot of volume.

    Cons

The management's vision of the company's future is to move everything they can to Asia; while there is still some US presence, it's less and less every year, the attitude is 'for one person's salary in North America we can hire several in Asia'.

    Pros

good pay, Schedule works well for the rest of life.

    Cons

Lack of communication and trust. They say they promote within and encourage growth but moving up usually requires a large pay cut. How is that moving up? Where is the incentive?

    Advice to Management

    please re-evaluate
