I worked at Atos full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

High turnover rate gives you a quick chance to be a leader which is a great way to build a green resume. Great place to get started when you have no experience. The benefits are fantastic once you become a full time employee. A lot of Paid time off.

    Cons

Good talent is watched walk out the door to competitors over and over again. SLA's are very tight and can barely be made with the staff allowed on the account. Staff quits or is terminated and they are not back filled leaving the team with more work and less people. Alot of workers are left in a temp agency as "long term temps" where benefits and pay are lacking.

    Advice to Management

Pay needs to be more competitive and you can not expect to build strong teams when the leaders of those teams are going to higher paying positions doing easier work.

I worked at Atos full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Allowed to work remotely, and flexible hours. Great company wide communication tools Allowed to work remotely, and flexible hours, this so good I mention it twice.

    Cons

No annual raises After they: took AWAY A week vacation for anyone over 20 years took AWAY Internet allowance took AWAY Matching 401(k) at each payday. It is going down to once a year in Dec, Now I would lose all interest made on matched funds throughout the year Expectation that you work 24/7/365 Too many different tools to do similar jobs, Ex: backups

    Advice to Management

This is to upper management, first line management is OK. focus the same attention you put on the bottom line on your people. It will also increase your bottom line

    Pros

    Technicians I have worked with.

    Cons

Not all but, most mid-level managers are technically clueless and hide behind politics to cover their own inadequacies. Escalation does not exists, (only on paper) so a tech is pretty much on their own, so a self starter is key to survival at the Desktop Support Level. Pay scale below industry standard and health benefit packages are purposely delayed by design for new employees whom were promised after 3 months probation. Some techs do not receive theirs until 1- 2 years later.

    Advice to Management

Take a closer look at your Leads and mid-level managers, whom lack the proper technical skills to assist techs, whom 9 out of 10 times must rely on each other for escalations, which go technically unanswered.

I worked at Atos full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Honestly, it is so cumbersome to work with that you can do nothing and get away with it. It is large, so you meet a lot of people and can move jobs. Some people really do care and make it a great place, but the culture just lacked.

    Cons

Cumbersome systems and policies, too big to navigate and get anything meaningful accomplished, strictly after revenue at cost of customer satisfaction

    Advice to Management

Create a workable structure, assign tower resources to delivery managers and have tower managers as advisers and pool talent managers.

I worked at Atos (More than a year)

    Pros

    The employee benefits are good.

    Cons

The company did not provide raises in my department in the 3 years I worked there while numerous other departments did. Management creates more confusion then leadership. There is a very high turnover of employee's.

    Advice to Management

Find a way to make this place more employee oriented.

    Pros

Great Company to learn some light networking and Cloud infrastructure. Along side Microsoft IT.

    Cons

ATOS Management if horrible. They act without investigating. Never listening just acting on what they here. No explanation on what they do. The ATOS manager at the CH1 Data center is just and HR rep that sits all day and pay no attention to his employees.

    Advice to Management

Listen first. Investigate the situations. Do not just let people go because a manager that knows nothing of what goes on with his employees said something.

I have been working at Atos (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The job was ok. Most people have been working there for many years but I feel they just settled. For the most part it was a secure job.

    Cons

Underpaid compared to market rate. Didn't realize this until I was laid off. Most companies paid double than what they paid.
