    Supporting Microsoft Data Center

Data Center Technician (Current Employee) Northlake, IL

Prosnothing positive to write about. Nice office with nice office furniture. Excellent break room. Strict security measures in place. Staff is always in stress!

ConsAll negative due to change in Microsoft business model. No adequate training is provided. Employees are treated disrespectfully and the manager seems to be a dictator!

Advice to Senior ManagementTry to treat your staff nicely. Stop playing politics that will take you nowhere.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Company is mismanaged.

Business Strategy Support Specialist (Current Employee) Mason, OH

ProsCompany has the resources and ability to handle hundreds of accounts and provide excellent service to their customers.

ConsCompany underpays their staff in the IT department which is the backbone of the company. They also suggest that they have an open door policy for their staff yet if you use this policy you may be terminated.

Advice to Senior ManagementListen to your employees. You have a good support team, yet it needs work. Instead of training new employees to handle all of your accounts (night shift) and then provide support for all of the accounts, train them one account at a time and do not allow them to provide support for all of the accounts until they are familiar with the ones they have. Have them take calls and provide support during training for each and every one of the accounts to make sure they can handle the account. If this happens then I am sure your employee turnaround would drop and your quality would rise.

    Great place to work...

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Portland, OR

ProsUnique work experiences bring all teams together. It's interesting to work with a diverse group of people that is willing to help every person on a team out.

ConsNot all managers treat the teams equally. Favoritism is played among the EUC tower. US employment structures need to suffer through Europe's downfalls.

Advice to Senior ManagementPick management carefully. Some managers are extremely inexperienced for the groups they lead. Sometimes it is better to have a respected peer be a leader rather than someone that looks good on paper.
