I worked at Audi as an intern

    Pros

As an international intern, I was given many opportunities to travel thanks to Audi's program. Aside from the travel experience, the supervisors were absolutely great. They gave clear guidance in how to achieve our project goals and were very smart in their respective field of research. We also got to network with a lot of the upper management.

    Cons

This intern program was the first of its kind hence it was a bit unorganized.

I worked at Audi full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

employees are treated like family. management is understanding and gives new mechanics a chance to work and be trained to repair high class luxury vehicles

    Cons

not enough equipment at times, to cluttered. also work is distributed to employees with favoritism at times. veteran mechanics receive extensive repairs that pay an excess amount while new comers receive jobs with minimal pay outs

    Advice to Management

special parts equipment needs to be well maintained and organized. without cutting corners to complete work

I have been working at Audi full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You have to start on a very basic level but there is such a tremendous amount of potential for moving up. When I started with this company I had no idea I would be where I was today. I truly want to build my career with this company for the rest of my life. If you put hard work in they recognize you for all that you do. I never go a day without knowing that I'm appreciate for all I do for the company.

    Cons

Having to discuss difficult situations with customers where we aren't always delivering good news.

    Advice to Management

Continue to empower all of your team members to move forward to different teams and positions.

    Pros

Great atmosphere and people to work with. Always there for advice and guidance on product knowledge or sales training.

    Cons

Sometimes can be a bit dry, but that's the con of working in an automotive industry. Despite some longer hours, they're split up among the week.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work.

    Pros

Easy money because you're just sitting at a desk the whole day answering phones and directing people. Some good people Pays overtime Car discounts

    Cons

The environment is extremely stressful. Management is literally watching you at all times from the windows above and if they have an issue with the way you do something, they'll send you a passive aggressive email instead of confronting you. A majority of the employees are fake and ignore you if you are a lower rank than them. I've had customers wait for more than 30 minutes at my desk for someone because they would not answer my calls or look me in the eye when I physically went to get them. You cannot be sick, or else you'll be made out to be a horrible employee. If a customer wants to be transferred to a specific dept and that dept just "doesn't feel" like taking the call, YOU are stuck with them calling 7 times an hour and yelling at you. Receptionists are constantly quitting because of low hours/treatment and no chance to move up in the company

    Advice to Management

Treat every department equally. Yes there's good pay, but it's not worth it if you're being treated like the scum of the Earth just for the position you hold. Also, focus on hiring and promoting within.

    Cons

Facility need to be remodeled. Long hours can be expected at retail job, so not really a negative, if you like what you do.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your staff, not just your CRM metrics..
