>Great work space, lots of food provided by the company
>You won't even realize you work in Newark
Cons

Advice to Senior Management
>Share more info about how great the company is doing (and it is!), strategic plans for the future, challenges, and opportunities.
Pros
This is a good place to work at....when I first started it was very laid back and chill...Mondays and Fridays were the best days due to free food and drinks...Pay$$$ is great for lower entry position. by far has to be one of top in the industry especially for the easy work that is done...also it was a diversity mix of people.....they seem to be expanding which is good...for future and current employees....
Cons
Before I departed involuntary....the CS dept started to get more strict by minute and make work boring not as chill as it was before even though all the work was still getting done. Too many unnecessary meetings.....only good thing out of it was the day went by a lil faster....also they're some sneaky nasty co-workers who will try to throw ppl under the bus to save their asses...
Advice to Senior Management
Need more supervisory positions....and they should be a little more hands on...some cross training would of been nice....and there is hardly any promotions for CS.
Pros
Good transfer of knowledge from the other team members.
Cons
Expectations somewhat unrealistic, like number of hours worked
Advice to Senior Management
Have more training programs
Pros
Great work culture. Flexible working hours. Importance to work and personal life balance. Free audiobooks and free lunches on monday. Intelligent people to work with
Cons
Small company attitude. Don't tend to focus on how to grow their employees or think outside the box.
Advice to Senior Management
Stop thinking like a small company. You are a part of amazon now.
Pros
The company is part of Amazon. One big advantage is that you can move to Seattle and join the main company relatively easily.
Cons
Very top down management. The upper management is stupid, but they think they are pretty smart. Very political atmosphere. You will spend 4-5 hours in a meeting.
Advice to Senior Management
Cut down on the meetings. Its a small company, but more political than any other place I have known. Fix the atmosphere.
Pros
The environment is friendly, there's free lunches every Monday, people are young and nice, the cubicles all have low walls so people could talk to each other more freely
Cons
They expect their employees to work really long hours sometimes, the pay is pretty low (their interns work for free), a lot of inefficient meetings
Advice to Senior Management
-Make your meetings more efficient
-Make intern program more structured
-Have more training programs or orientation programs so people can adapt more easily
Pros
People are great to work with
Very laid back and casual office that gets the job done
Cons
Room for advancement is minimal
Senior Management does not communicate well with the rest of the employees
Advice to Senior Management
Talk, email, etc. with your teams about what they are doing well and what they are need to improve on or else you will not be satisfied and the team will get frustrated.
