I worked at AudienceScience full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Some nice people. Good work/life balance. Fine benefits.

    Cons

    - Like everyone else is saying, I have no idea what management did. They preach startup values (despite being 10+ years old), but were very stuck in their ways.
    - Only one real client that nobody is passionate about
    - Zero culture & lots of complaining
    - "Modern" tech company in cubicles?

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop hiring layers upon layers of mediocre managers. Flatten, empower your doers, and put more value on product quality.. your smartest employees (the ones that are left) are being treated as cogs.

I worked at AudienceScience full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Health benefits, 401k, some office culture / company events

    Cons

Top heavy company, favoritism, upper management is lost and focusing in too many directions. Little room for career movement. A very small number of people are doing the majority of the work. They have had many layoffs in a short time frame.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

They should listen to their employees input. Offer support and training to employees seeking to expand careers.

I worked at AudienceScience full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    Their physical offices are nice

    Cons

ZERO job security, the executive level doesn't communicate with anyone, CEO came in spoke poorly about past management. Sadly there is nothing positive I can say about this once great company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't lie about lay-offs, update your employees, hire better recruiters so they stop reaching out to former employees.

    Pros

Amazing environment to learn what is the latest with the industry. The structure is so flat that there is almost no boundary between teams. You can learn so much collaborating with different people.
People here are extremely bright with valuable experience at industry leaders like top agencies, Microsoft and Amazon

    Cons

fast-paced working environment isn't for everyone! If you are comfortable staying in your own silo or a corporate working environment, AudienceScience might not be the best place for you.

I have been working at AudienceScience full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

My co-workers are positive, helpful, and friendly. Management is clear and allows engineers a lot of freedom in how and what to build to meet business needs. Using some of the latest technologies and solving problems not yet solved by others. Exciting, global business affecting billions.

    Cons

Moving this fast sometimes doesn't leave time to document a lot of how and why we built something. Many items still needing automation with puppet and ansible.
