    Pros

getting contracts fast and living arrangements are nice

    Cons

a lot of the contracts pay the same in different states

Best company I've ever worked for

I have been working at Aureus Medical

    Pros

I read some reviews, and have never been encouraged to skip lunch or work 10 hour days. I love my coworkers in the office, and my employees out in the field are awesome! No day is ever the same. You do work hard, but the return is great.

    Cons

The benefits package could be improved. They are pricey, and maybe not the best out there. Please shop around

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to employees about benefits, and flexible schedules.

I have been working at Aureus Medical as a contractor for less than a year

    Pros

Great communication. I get a ph call or text message or both at least once a wk from my recruiter and sometimes on the weekends just to see how the wk went. They also work with you on getting a license in another state, plus offer reimbursement for some things including CEU's.. They will find housing for you or you can find it yourself and keep the rest of your housing funds if you find a cheaper places to live.

    Cons

No vision incurrence plan and maybe pay higher wages but other then that no real cons so far to speak of.

I have been working at Aureus Medical as a contractor for less than a year

    Pros

Both of my reps were there with me always available to chat and help me figure out my next move.

    Cons

Wish there was more assistance in obtaining state licenses. Higher per diem.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Providing the assistance for licensure would be an amazing addition to your many service. As well as online CEU courses to help maintain licenses.

I worked at Aureus Medical full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Great commissions
    - Organized training process
    - Good overall communication from top to bottom
    - Rewarding job duties
    - Great learning opportunities such as payroll and employee management
    - Team, department and Division performance are a part of the variable compensation structure (50%)

    Cons

    - Rigid and lengthy work hours
    - Expensive and basic benefits
    - Outdated and old school corporate dress policy
    - Division Managers are figure heads and do very little actual "work". The soldiers run the units, not the Generals if you catch my drift.
    - Cold, Cold Calling. Smile and Dial.
    - Uncomfortable work stations (cubicles w/ high walls)
    - Unlevel playing fields. Tenured employees are given territory.ry preference and retain old clients outside of their territories, regardless of recent buying activity.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't be so loyal to employees just because of their tenure. Get rid of your outdated dress code. Retain good employees, not just loyal ones. Relax a little bit. Fear is not a way to motivate.

Aureus Medical provide you with great opportunity to travel and work in different environments.Contracts in many different states. Great to be paid on time each week.

    Cons

Company doesn't give all of allowable travel expenses that IRS allows. Seems to step over the line when it comes to your tax's.

I have been working at Aureus Medical

    Pros

-Transparency: knows the past, present and where we are heading
-Events: host several events to bring fun to the work environment; great way to get to know others in different departments
-Compensation: Definitely paid for your hard work!
-People: Some of the best people I have ever met with the biggest hearts. Really care about what Aureus stands for. They really do what they can for their traveling employees and core office workers.

    Cons

-Sometimes people are not placed in positions that will help them or others to succeed.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't be shy about checking in on how mentoring and team meetings are being handled on site. Sometimes coaching isn't done as often or as thorough as it should especially when new people are transitioning to marketing.

I have been working at Aureus Medical full-time

    Pros

great opportunities to make buccu bucks

    Cons

bonuses are not guaranteed - you have to make 200+ calls a day sometimes to make it look like you're trying.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

be more open with how cut throat it is

I have been working at Aureus Medical

    Pros

The travel is often nice as its interesting to see new places - Nick has been a great person to work with during assignments in Michigan ; he stays in touch by phone and e-mail- The news letters via email are well done; it provides news about the company, photos that other nurses have taken during their travel assignments, health tips and other interesting facts

    Cons

It would have been helpful to have had more information regarding available options for pay, housing and travel and the expected out-of-pocket expenses to the employee during travel assignments. Some of the office staff call too often during assignments

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

provide a list of other travel nurses who would be willing to be resourses or contacts, other than the office staff
