Pros
It is a large system so there are a lot of resources within system. Patients have easy access to care providers no matter which community they live in.
Cons
Organization is very myopic. Very willing to look at best practices within own organization not so willing to look at outside practices. Organization seems to have trouble partnering with outside entities. Claims integrated healthcare model...has quite a long way to go to be truly integrated.
Pros
- Solid Company
- A Growing Company
- Great Benefits
- Big push from upper management to implement and improve technology
Cons
- No Real Professional Development
- Lack of input from the people at ground zero
-Not much room to advance
- Application Process is very long
Advice to Senior Management
Appeal to the youth and get more involved in professional development and introduce career tracks.
Pros
appropriate pay, understanding immediate supervisor, flexibility, given tools and resources needed to best help customers, if being sold to a larger company, our jobs are being retained as part of the sale
Cons
insecurity in the market, as locations are being sold to larger companies, but at the same time, I understnad that is a business move
Advice to Senior Management
It is important to continue better communication with empoyees from corporate. I have always appreciated the understanding and flexibility given.

Cons
Bureaucracy, frequent changes in direction
Advice to Senior Management
Keep experienced people
Pros
Interesting, rewarding work. State of the art systems and technology. Wonderfully dedicated and knowledgeable coworkers and staff. Caring, professional people. Well kept facilities. Abundant supplies. Very secure working environment. Plenty to learn and keep one intellectually stimulated. You'll always be learning! You can go as far as you want here.
Cons
If you are afraid of hard work, or working sometimes long hours, you'll need to rethink this company. Know this: you'll be secure here, because there is PLENTY OF WORK. This does translate into sometimes long hours. Deal with it! Enjoy having a SECURE job in an INSECURE employment environment. You will NEVER be mistreated or unappreciated. You WILL work HARD here. That said, you WILL be compensated EXTREMELY well. Thank you, Aurora!

When you ask our opinions, use them. We are the front line workers
Pros
I do like the way Aurora attempts to make things better for the people who use our services and employees attempt to do the best they can, They try to have good customer service but the budget is very tight. alternative medicine available. They try to be good neighbors
