I worked at Automotive Rentals

Pros – The benefits at ARI are good. The year end bonus really helps out. Work was rarely dull. There were many challenging situations. The guys were great to work with. It was nice to leave with clean hands and clothes every day. It is a good place to work for anyone who is tired of the retail automotive field.

Cons – New empolyees had to work holidays, nights and weekends. Pay raises didn't keep up with inflation. Management showed a lack of respect for the technicians. Technical training became non-existant. If you were hired as a service technician there were very few opportunities for advancement, your pay was already too high for many of the other departments.

Advice to Senior Management – Value the employees input. Give raises that keep up with inflation.

I worked at Automotive Rentals full-time for more than 8 years

Pros – Company is sucessfuly financially at least for now.....

Cons – Promotions are given depending on anything but merit and hard work. Very political company. you are either with the connected group or you are out and will never get promoted. Was a great company until a few years ago. It has been going down hill since.

Advice to Senior Management – Remove current upper management that has been hired in the past 3 years.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
