I have been working at Avianca full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Being part of a great industry with an airline that is a region leader is great, plus the travel benefits and the growth opportunities

    Cons

The company is still working it out after the merge with Taca Airlines, there is still some kind of rivalry between the employees of both companies.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Care more for the counter agents and the people in the basic positions, they are the soul of the company

    Pros

It's a great place to learn in the airline industry as the company is growing quickly.

    Cons

    Low salaries
In order to be more competitive in Colombia as a work place perks should be improve. Eg: flexible schedules, early fridays.
From my point of view there are a lot of improvements that can be done specially in the personal management areas.
Create politics to helps workers to get a balance.
    Promote more healthy lifestyle.
Some decisionas are taken based on friends recommendations more known as "rosca"
