Senior Technical Eng (Current Employee)

I have been working at Avira full-time for more than 3 years

ProsPay is OK
Benefits slightly better than avarage

ConsI was witness of harassment of new coworkers.

Managment was doing nothing to stop.
I think again if I wanna stay.

Excellent company to work for. Great people, fair management.

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)
Bucharest (Romania)

I have been working at Avira full-time for more than a year

Pros- people are awesome (in the majority of cases)
- your voice can be strong enough if you know how to promote your ideas
- you are not insulated from the top level management
- a large part of the lunch price is being carried by the company
- the official language in the company is English

Cons- you need to be self driven
- a lot it's being asked from you and if you don't take it as a chance to also develop yourself you'll be overwhelmed

Advice to Senior Management- research and identify great and feasible ideas of projects and pursue the for a minimum amount of time
- take more educated decisions (more highlight on the research part after ideation phase)

Prosfood, building, colleagues, equipment, sallary

Consmanagement, appreciation, bonuses, career growth, product development

Advice to Senior ManagementEmployees matter less and less. Romanian staff is treated with less importance than the foreign one. The company has a narrow view - I am not optimistic about its future.
