Pros
The best reasons to work at AVIS Rent-A-Car includes salary of $20 daily which is an average of $400 monthly.
Cons
The only real problem with working at Avis Budget Rent A Car was one simple thing. I was underpayed.
Advice to Senior Management
My advice for management(since i'm related to the managers) are offering your employees a Visa PayRoll Card for increased efficiency.
Pros
Good work hours and a nice work environment. Management team is very fair and pleasant to work for. Overall solid company to work for.
Cons
Customer Service Representative job is taking phone calls for 8-10 hours a day and this can become very draining. But it comes with the nature of the position.
Pros
Great benefits
Good pepole
Flexibility of daily schedule
Cons
Weekly beat down sessions in front of peers
Humiliation
Company does not know how to or understands the idea of coaching.
Daily/Weekly threats of losing jobs
Unrealistic goals
Taking advantage of the high unemployment rate to treat current employees poorly.
Advice to Senior Management
Start treating employee's with respect regardless of the position title
Learn how to coach
You don't have to threaten your employee's to get things done.
Morale needs significant improvement.
When the economy turns (and it will) your employee's will remember how they were treated by you.
Pros
Driven executive team that is passionate about winning on their terms. Very matrix driven and good CRM usage to mange sales funnel and account management.
Cons
Some disconnectivity with upper management that doesn't walk the walk in managing account opportunities, and strategic pricing. Management through intimidation with very little flexibility or collaboration. More focused on the big picture than resolving specific areas of concern with an account or strategy. Constant change with very little support.
Pros
To learn the industry its a good place to get your feet wet and to start out washing cars and to be able to work your way up into owning your own franchise is a good way to start out at any company
Cons
I would say almost everything else is not what it seems, the upper level management has no respect for agency operators and as an operator you wil be in change of everything..
Advice to Senior Management
To listen to the agency operators as they know more about what goes on then just numbers, we all work very hard
Pros
potential to run your own business.
Cons
Worked as an agency operator, local management treated the local market operators with great disrespect. We were not employees, however management was very confused about that fact and made great efforts to mishandle us. relationship should be mutually respectful.
Advice to Senior Management
respond to what your well known untrained, out of control managers are doing and not doing.
Pros
As management, you will receive a company car. All of the employees are great to work with. They have good health benefits.
Cons
Do not ever think for one second that this is a good or rewarding position in any way, shape or form. You will be forced to work nights, weekends and holidays. You will be demoralized every single day by upper management. You can expect to constantly strive to meet your City Manager's excpectations, but always seem to fall short in some way. You can expect upper management to set you up to fail with unrealistic expectations. You can expect to receive poor performance appraisals after sacrificing your personal and home life. They woo you in the beginning with promises of great bonus potetial; but trust me when I tell you, the bonus structure is like the gold at the end of the rainbow...non-existent. I was there for 3 years and never received a bonus. In fact one year, I was shown a negative number for my bonus.
Advice to Senior Management
I honestly don't know where to begin with advice. This company is so far gone that they have passed the point of no return. Best of luck with your choices.

It is a little far to drive to get to work, and the hours are just ok.
Advice to Senior Management

Sometimes the weather conditions can be harsh
Advice to Senior Management
