Pros
- Senior managers are very competent leaders and strategists (most of them at least).
- Opportunity to work with professionals from different backgroundsCons
- Considerably flat personal structure, making it very difficult if not impossible to rise in responsibilities in certain departments.
- Role of certain departments is neglected despite their obvious participation in company's success.
- Printed media are slowly moving towards demise.Advice to Senior Management
- In my opinion, the leaders of Axel Springer are doing already good job, although perhaps some procedures regarding personal growth should be verified. Otherwise Axel Springer is not going to attract the most talented employees.
