I worked at Axiom Resource Management full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Axiom has great relationships with all of it's customers, and wins quality business. They treat their employees well, and it is a very collegial atmosphere in a very challenging set of markets. They work on the leading edge of programs in the Federal Government. Good pay, good bonuses. Benefits were good for my family. Good 401k.

    Cons

Customer demands can be very high, in terms of hours and needs. It is a small company that needs to be competitive, so pay is a little lower than standard.

I have been working at Axiom Resource Management full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Work can be interesting, if you're seeking to work for the DOD. Employees are young and easy to get along with.

    Cons

I think upper management is a bit aloof of what is going on the the lower end. You have to pay for parking.

GREAT PAY. but it comes with a great cost....

    Cons

Alot of politics. Shady and lots of unfairness going on here.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You don't pay attention to what people say. You listen to people you like and don't care about the rest. ( well, unless that person is bringing alot of cash in for you!)

I have been working at Axiom Resource Management

    Pros

Axiom offers holiday bonuses for all employees, work activities like golf tournaments (you have to take leave to go though), very good health insurance. Negotiate for raises and pay.

    Cons

Very young workforce, management is very cliquey and if you aren't part of their group it can be very difficult to advance. Extremely low pay for the work required.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your employees like people not like high schoolers.

I worked at Axiom Resource Management as a contractor (more than an year)

    Pros

Great management, treat you like family, family value is important to this company, working environment is very friendly! Fortune 500 company! Top-notch!

    Cons

Location - Falls Church. Commuting from the Prince William county areas are very challenging. But for the most part, it's tolerable.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Upper management is great! They do take time to interact and get to know with their employees.

I worked at Axiom Resource Management as a contractor (less than an year)

    Pros

The pay is great you just have to know how to negotiate. They do have a revolving door with people constantly coming in and out, but that is the way it is with gov't contracts. Axiom is a great way to get started in gov't contracts. They seem to have a good reputation with the gov't, so they are always winning new contracts. Also, they have a really big holiday party in Tysons Corner, and every employee no matter how long you been there gets a holiday bonus.

    Cons

The company was great, but the contract I was on was crappy which isn't the fault of company.

I have been working at Axiom Resource Management

    Pros

Young workforce, many employes are right out of college. Axiom host a lavish holiday party and provides some opportunities to attends events, i.e. baseball games, golf, marathons.

    Cons

Salary is not adequate for the amount of work completed. Management lacks the ability to effectively lead or provide support/guidance. High school like environment with attitudes and behaviors to support. Do not expect to be valued here. Management only cares about money, not you.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn to care about and value the people working for you. Provide better benefits and salary for all that the lower level employees are doing. Stop rewarding bad management from your contract learders.
