    Pros

There are still great people working in Axway.

    Cons

Axway is does not value loyal employees. Too much executive hypocrisy.

    Advice to Management

Stop rotating the same people in management and executive. They fail over and over and will ruin the company.

    Pros

The team that I work with are great people. Team players and are always willing to pitch in and help whenever they can.

    Cons

    Technology is outdated.
If you are French, you're safe. If you aren't, politics is going to work against you.
The company does NOT treat their employee with respect. It's almost like you're being treated badly intentionally to drive you to leave.

    Advice to Management

Well, if they really want to listen... Frankly, they'll ignore my advice...

Stop lying to your remaining employees. If your intention is to get rid of them, just fire them.
Stop being a bunch of cheapskates and reward your good employees based on their merit and performance.
Give employees the option for career growth.

    Pros

Great technology that has a differentiator and is being continually improved upon
Generally speaking - high quality people in US Operations
US Management is working to create improved process, structure, and accountability throughout the organization
Hiring quality people to replace those who have left

    Cons

Products are not tightly integrated to truly represent a product suite
High employee turnover - especially in the area of Professional Services - what does that tell you?
Not that many happy customers primarily attributed to product integration issues - actively being addressed though
French upper managment does not want to look at reality - i.e. areas they truly need to focus on such as R&D and Product Management to produce better QA'd products (new releases tend to break existing deployments)

    Advice to Management

    (1) Keep up the good work with building structure, process, and accountability at all levels. We are a sales driven company - not an R&D company.
    (2) Have stronger US presence for product development (R&D)
    (3) Fix the product suite integration issues
    (4) Pay our technical people more and don't mess with their bonuses!!! They deal with alot and are leaving Axway to make 25% more and deal with fewer product problems. They are underpaid and overworked. --IT COSTS AXWAY 4-5X MORE TO REPLACE A GOOD TECHNICAL EMPLOYEE VERSUS PAYING THEM FAIRLY -- 20% of 1 year's salary just for head hunter fees, 1 year of salary spent solely on training with little true production, lost opportunity costs as comnpetitors with fully trained staffs out maneuver us in deals.

Word to French Management: Turn over the baton to US Management and let us run US Operations like a US company! Allow us to have significant influence in Product features, functionality and release dates. We know our customers and what they want.

    Pros

Good product for MFT. However, the extended suite of products are an accumulation of purchased companies. The footprint is not integrated.

    Cons

Customer service is an issue. Also, the extended suite of products are an accumulation of purchased companies. The footprint is not integrated.

    Advice to Management

    Focus on the customer experience

    Pros

Longtime provider of Software and Services for Secure File transfers and other Infrastructure type software solutions.
Axway does have a decent customer base in the markets they compete in.

    Cons

Changing management, comp plans, very competitive space... Axway competes with small software companies and has difficulty charging a premium for there technology in commodity markets. Axway is Headquartered out of France and there is a culture difference that can be felt.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

Benefits are on par with other companies. Some of the engineers are very hard working.

    Cons

French run company. Unless you are French, you will not be respected. In the last 12 months, multiple key U.S. VP's have left the company indicating there are significant internal issues. Leadership turnover is well above the norm indicating there are problems.

Significant product quality issues. For key products like B2Bi, Axway has NO REFERENCEABLE CLIENTS. Think about what that says.

    Engineering cannot hit delivery dates.

    Advice to Management

    Get a good management team.
