    Pros

Great atmosphere, great coworkers, music keeps you going

    Cons

Scheduling conflict. They'll schedule you to work every weekend.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop buying scratch off tickets and stop screwing the employees. Of they don't like you, you're gone.

I have been working at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill

    Pros

See some cool shows for free but most were pretty bad.

    Cons

Would put several servers on for a very slow show just because the room would have to be cleared of all table and chairs after the show to transform it into the club for late night. In other words, we would have to stick around for 6 hours and do heavy physical labor for about $30. Also a bunch of other crazy stuff like no hot water in the dish room for 3 months so wait staff would have to wash gross silverware by hand with hot tea water for guests. Crazy bad place to work. Really bad management.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You can't expect 15 servers to clear out 500 chairs (numbers?) for no incentive! The whole place is a mess.

I worked at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

Wonderful people, great atmosphere, free tickets to shows, at that time we even got free lunch. All access to the venue and got a chance to look over all the contracts and be part of the negotiations

    Cons

Sometimes there wasn't enough to do and we were shipped around to other departments, the office space was really crowded (although now I think they've moved offices) and the structure was kind of odd

I worked at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill as a contractor

    Pros

Location, parking, scheduling, discounts, line staff.

    Cons

Management, pay, lack of customer concerns.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hard to say. Several locations in several cities have closed. Not too sure the chain will stay alive, although the main Memphis location probably always will.
