    Pros

BASF provides it's employees with benefits to a level I have not seen in other organizations. The 401k match is better than I have ever seen, vacation time is better than the national average, flexible work from home schedules are available in many positions and the general atmosphere among other employees is positive

    Cons

It is a large company so it can take a long time to get some things done in the organization. Some positions require a lot of travel, so it can be difficult for people with families, but the job descriptions are usually accurate when it comes to specified travel.

    Pros

I worked in corporate IT. The team is a very bright group of individuals, and everyone works together to get the job done. Management is very supportive of staff, and will have your back most of the time. Lots of opportunities to grow your knowledge and work with other teams on endless projects.

    Cons

I didn't have anything bad to say about the company. Some people felt management was maybe a little scared of higher-ups, but I think it's just following direction.

    Advice to Management

Keep developing and motivating your staff, continue to give them freedom and support on their projects and helping them achieve their career goals. They will in turn help you do the same.

    Pros

Excellent perks, employee benefits and lots of generous discounts. Great network opportunities due to large company, easy to relocate or move to other roles

    Cons

Headquarters in Europe, sometimes the focus is lost in other markets. Because of the size of the company some businesses individual needs can not be met for the benefit of all

    Pros

BASF is truly progressive and interested in finding and implementing sustainable solutions for many urgent global issues. The company is interested in hiring the brightest and most driven employees who are going to continue to work to improve themselves and the company.

    Cons

Employees must be willing to learn new things and change positions (possibly moving to new locations) in order to grow. There is a strong push to promote from within, but a particular position is unlikely to change in title as in the traditional sense of "getting a promotion."
