    Pros

    Room for growth, fast paced, always busy, get your hands into lots of different areas of the business

    Cons

    no work life balance, poor support, privately owned so the goal is to always make the most money for the company.

    Advice to Management

    quit being so cheap. invest in your field staff. invest in your office staff. we are a billion dollar company. We have the money to afford to invest in the happiness of our employees. Instead that money goes into pockets for directors bonuses.

    Pros

    Nothing. Unless you like to be degraded and used to the last drop, then tossed away like trash.

    Cons

    Everything. Worst job I ever had. Slap in my face. -Extremely cheap and looking to cut every corner possible -Low pay -Horrible benefits -Compensated up to 40 hrs per week only, but you'll pull 50 + hours every week and you'll be told to WORK HARDER -After hours on call/after hours work (no pay) -1980's technology hinderance to work production -Favoritism -Degradation -24 hour fire drill-chaos -Disorganized -ZERO leadership- every man for himself/fend for yourself -No training -Too many highly varied job responsibilities for one person to learn -Cult like environment, total farce, it's about profit, not caring -People burn out and leave after a year

    Executive management, your offices are a reflection of you.

    Pros

    They offer flexible scheduling, competitive pay, reward programs for employees, and also some health care plan options. The office staff is very professional, and kind.

    Cons

    They do not offer salary increases after working for them for any long period of time. There are no raises with yearly reviews. The base pay for the case you choose to work will remain the base pay.

    Advice to Management

    Attempt to schedule nurses with cases more in a more stable manner. Instead of monthly calendars, perhaps try a calendar for every 3 months if possible so that employees can rely on their financial income easier.

    Pros

    Little to no pros. Sorry

    Run the other way. Pay for less than your license/title, unchallwnging cases below your level, you are just a warm body to fill a spot! Horrible communication between staff family and office. Will use and abuse you up until your last day putting blame on you when it's their fault they can't properly place enough people on all their cases. Will literally hire anybody off the street with a license. You are just a warm body. Also you'll fluctuate between FT and PT so goodluck keeping benefits.

    Advice to Management

    Take the time to talk to employees so you can align their interests and acuity level with the right cases. Pay employees as an RN and not LPN if that's their title!c'mon guys! And don't have nurses cooking and cleaning and doing laundry when it's nowhere in the careplan. Give HHA cases to HHA and not an RN!

    Pros

    Pay is good, but not for salaried employees. Plan on working at least 50 hours for 40 hours pay. Coworkers were nice.

    Cons

    Have 90 day trial employment with absolutely no benefits available. Cost of insurance higher than other companies their size. Job consumed my life. No flexibility. High expectations of supervisors with no concern for how many free hours you are donating. Perfect work at high volume is expected.

    Advice to Management

    You cannot expect both quantity and quality. Trying to maintain both leads to burn out, low morale and poor retention of employees.

    Flexible schedule and variety of cases

    Cons

    24 hours of vac time after 2000 hours! That's 3 paid days off yearly! Same pay rate for past 10 years! No career growth!

    Advice to Management

    Two weeks of vacation yearly! Sick days.. even just ONE! Pay increases with length of service! Assistance with/ tuition or continuing Ed courses. Less advertising on lunch boxes... pass savings to poorly compensated loyal nurses.

    Good nurse support provided, great clients, flexible hours, some great coworkers

    Cons

    You are just a number who they will use to work as many hours as they can get out of you, no concern about your safety, always have to apologize to clients for office mistakes, not being given accurate information on new cases.

    Advice to Management

    Value your clients and workers and not the money. Strive to be an employer of choice.

    Pros

    Since they cannot guarantee you will work your assigned shifts (client in hospital, etc) it is easy to get time off when you request it.

    Cons

    Not enough pay, would like more hands on training in various aspects of nursing, so you can have more clients.

    Advice to Management

    Try and give more shifts to nurses and clients that have a good working relationship. More communication needed between management and workers. Otherwise, management is very good.
