    Pros

Decent Benefits. Good exposure to management.

    Cons

Lack of promotion based on talent/performance. Too much political decision making. Lack of disciplinary action for poor performers. About twenty years behind technology/industry.

    Advice to Management

Promote/acknowledge ability/potential; stop shuffling associates around in lieu of terminating poor performers.

  2. Tired culture with little room for advancement

    Pros

Hardly anyone standing over your shoulder.

    Cons

Dreadful management and vision of the business. Cannot seem to decide whether they want to make a serious crack at sell side or close the business. Everyone is disgruntled and mad over their situation and it shows in they way they deal with clients. No ownership or accountability at all.

    Pros

It is good learning place. Take your CFA and get on to the buy side. The company will sponsor your CFA.

    Cons

Pay is definitely not competitive and is highly challenged. But still expectations regarding quality of work is very high. Most of the people are dissatisfied and leaving the organization. Lot of work with very less pay.
