    Pros

Great discount for a great product and one of my all-time favorite brands. Access to district and regional management is awesome! They are always available to listen to concerns/questions. Perk periods are great! So glad the dress code changed which makes it easier to sell current product as clients/guests always like to see how product can be worn.

Since the investors came on board, I have been able to see changes for the better.

    Cons

I have worked at three different locations, one of which was out of state, and they all had common themes--drama within the store management team resulting in a high turnover, did not hold associates accountable, tons of associates which resulted in little hours for each person.

Price point is high for associates who are making $10 per hour, but are expected to wear the brand. a few more perk periods per year would help. I've found clients are more receptive to a sales associate who looks the brand and the product is a lot easier to sell when you wear it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Store management takes the time to listen to concerns/questions, but does not follow-up. Stylists should have time to review the training materials we are expected to know. Sales meetings with core stylists and management to make sure everyone is on the same page would help--laying out the expectations and really working as a team. More clientele based events. Periodic reviews would be nice as well.

    Pros

Company was a great brand and a respected brand in the industry. Employee discount was a good perk.

    Cons

Processes are not standardized and are not followed. Unwilling to change processes and old technology. A lot of manual work arounds.

I worked at BCBG as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

Big company, good exposure. Everything in-house so Lubov and Max Azria work in the same building

    Cons

Great divide between departments-there weren't any opportunities to meet or work with people outside of cubicle. Vernon is also an awful factory area to be working in-no food around, safety of the area is questionable.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

More interactions with people in different levels

    Pros

Really fun if you like fashion! The bosses are great, and the company tries hard to teach you a lot. It's a great way to learn about retail, and it's a fast-paced environment. Hours usually are very flexible, and managers are helpful about organizing hours.

    Cons

Low pay, lots of time on your feet in heels, have to buy expensive clothes

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pay employees more!

I worked at BCBG full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

The travel from the west coast to NYC, Dallas and Las Vegas was a great perk. Interacting with all the clients from different regions was also a great learning experience. I really got a feel for the difference in the buying styles depending on region. It also helped out a pulse on the overall trends.

    Cons

The travel and the long hours definitely wears on you after weeks on the road. The woman I worked with were also horrible. Woman in fashion definitely have a reputation for being divas and this company is no different.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to your reps, they are the ones interacting with your real customers and have great insight for what the public feels about BCBG.

    Pros

Relaxed work environment. Not stuffy. Easy to make new friends and you'll work with a few talented people. The rest are French and friends of the Azrias.

    Cons

Off site parking, constantly changing strategies and direction from upper management that is poorly communicated to teams, design and merchandising are basically one in the same and don't listen to the numbers and facts provided by buying and planning. The building is also falling apart.
