    Pros

Most of the people there are idiots so you can get away with anything. The work is easy.

    Cons

Most of the people there are idiots. People get hired based on who they know, not what they know. You have to park offsite and be shuttled in. The CCO has to make all decisions and she is constantly changing her mind last minute so expect to work late.

    Advice to Management

Most of the VP's there are unnecessary. Review who does what and why they're needed because you'll find out quick that you're just throwing money away.

    Pros

Good place to learn the ins and outs of designer retail if your experience isn't with high-end brands. DORs rotate regularly so you can learn many aspects of management.

    Cons

Dismal pay. Retail workers and managers treated poorly by much of corporate staff. Conservative, churchy vibe. Individuality not appreciated or respected. Staff drama enabled and even escalated by upper management.

    Pros

lovely clothes. close to home. fashion industry is incredibly exciting. The fabrics were wonderful. The reception by consumers is appreciated.

    Cons

Can't always see the consumers. If you don't work in the stores, you don't have much access to the consumers. It is better if you know your consumers.

    Advice to Management

Let employees work in the stores every once in a while. They would understand the consumer better and that would create a better work product.

I have been working at BCBG full-time

    Pros

Clothing discount, commission and bonus, great visual merch standards, fun in store contests with great prizes, some of the head office employees are very inspiring

    Cons

no work like balance, some district managers play favorites (especially the Toronto DM) and won't build your career if you don't go out drinking with her and talk about dating. She has a lot of raw talent but not very professional.

    Advice to Management

Be firm but fair. Ensure teams have balance in their lives and don't work too much off the clock. Give consistent feedback and support development.

    Pros

There is so much opportunity to learn and grow as an intern at BCBG. I am given tasks that allow me to learn about the industry. I am given strong and motivating critiques and positive feedback. The program allows interns to shadow other departments and participate in workshops. I feel this company wants to promote from within and strongly supports their interns and employees. The environment is great and the brand is amazing.

    Cons

    i dont have any cons

    Pros

Fun environment, friendly workers and great discount. Fun place to work part time while in school

    Cons

Management is horrible. It may be the store manager we had but she was always late and scheduling around for her benefits

    Advice to Management

Like mentioned... management is horrible. If it wasn't for the coworkers I had... would not have latest long.

    Pros

Good name to have on your resume. But is it worth it?...

    Cons

Cons?...Everything else. Supervisors with no management skills, literally like dealing with your mother. Super passive aggressive management style. Working conditions are horrible, no AC, the summer is unbearable. Design teams are highly unorganized, therefore making workflow almost impossible. Super unrealistic. Oh yeah, and they pay you crumbs. Don't get stuck here more than a year. I could go on and on....

    Advice to Management

Seriously, there's so much, but I know it wouldn't make a difference anyway.
