I have been working at BCForward as a contractor

    Pros

Good work-life balance and job stability.

    Cons

Benefits are not competitive and employees must pay for their own training. Salaries are below the industry average.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Invest more in compensation and development of employees.

I worked at BCForward as a contractor (less than a year)

    Pros

They paid every check on time.
They eventually offer free minimum essential healthcare coverage.
    Generally answered HR emails quickly.
    They paid overtime.

    Cons

I was initially contacted by an Accenture recruiter asking if I wanted to work for a major tech company soon it became clear the job was for Accenture then when I actually received paperwork it was for BCForward. The Accenture managers had only the vaguest idea of what the relationship was and didn't even know how or what I was being paid.

    While working for BCForward:
Huge disconnect between actual client and BCForward who writes the check.
I communicated with BCForward on a few occasions:
    1. To ask how exactly I am supposed to get paid and account for time (this isn't something I should have to email to get the answer to days after starting)
    2. To be told I received a substantial raise....only to be told later this was a mistake.
    3. To be told I could receive either free minimum essential healthcare coverage.
    4. To be told I was now part of BCForward Razer not BCForward
    5. To tell them I quit!
    6. Pay is extremely sub par

As one can expect, as a contractor benefits are terrible. Its nice they offer minimum essential coverage to avoid taxes and fines but their actual coverage that does anything useful is overpriced.

Overall I know nothing about BCForward beyond a feeling that they are rather disorganized and unprofessional. The job was decent but this really had nothing to do with BCForward.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more proactive about training their clients on the relationship. I shouldn't have to email someone in Indiana I've never met just to figure out how to clock in.

I worked at BCForward full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

I received my pay on time.

    Cons

Nothing the recruiter told me regarding benefits was true. They even tried to change my contract language after we had signed it to cut my pay. No one from the company checked on me the entire time I worked for them, even when I had issues with the place where I was working. When I handed in my resignation, they asked me why.

    Pros

At least you know they're going to lie to you before they do it

    Cons

Underpaid, broken promises, terrible benefits, owner tells you he doesn't have money to give raises, while he drives off in his Bentley.

I have been working at BCForward full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Would hire you right away given their desperation of filling in jobs for which they have one contracts for.

Indy is cheap so living expenses might not be exorbitant

Avoid a full time gig with them and do a 1099 contract.

    Cons

A technology sweatshop just putting people in staff augmentation jobs.

    No career growth prospects.

Poor management team especially CEO. Would use and dump you.Recent layoffs of the top brass is a proof

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn to retain people that helped you get big and don't play the minority business card for fat contracts.

I have been working at BCForward

    Pros

They're fast with getting you a job

    Cons

    1) i have been working at BC forward for almost a year and I was told i can not have a raise even though the company I was hired to made me a lead.
On top of me doing training to new employees younger than me with no degrees getting paid literally 2 more dollars an hour than I do.

    2) They have you sign up for benefits but do not provide them. I've been waiting 3 months for my vision and dental and I have yet to receive any word.

    3) No communication. They will not answer your phone calls nor emails however they have no problem calling you about being late or if you've missed any days

Ps one of the employees has been working here 3 years still making the same pay he has been making since the day he started. They continue to tell him he will not get a raise but won't give him a reason why.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Check on your contractors at least pretend to care.

    I worked at BCForward

    Pros

None I can think of -- this place was a great place to work for but in the end you realize they are all about the money and very little about development and care for their employees.

    Cons

No continuous training to help you grow, no management support, you have to figure things out on your own and if you ask for help they tolerate it once or twice but tire of it very easily, very secretive and willing to let you down the minute they are bored with you.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

This business needs to be more supportive of the people who are doing the day to day work for this company and helping make this company actually run. They are not disposable and willing to just find another job elsewhere -- people still want to have security and faith that their managers are willing to work through things with them and help them grow and develop into long term dedicated employees.

I have been working at BCForward full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

This job offers a lot of flexibility and excellent benefits as well as a comfortable base salary and the ability to earn unlimited commission. While I am still relatively new to the company, I am overall very satisfied with the training, benefits and management. There is a definite sense of comraderie amongst the employees and management communicates with all employees clearly and regularly.

    Cons

Parking downtown is expensive and not covered (there is public transportation but it doesnt run where I live) but they set it up so that it is less of a burden for me by handling the set up so I really can't complain to much.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Nothing right now.
