    Pros

The company takes care of its workers providing everything you need to get the job done in a safe reasonable fashion.

    Cons

Working as a climber is a different world. Everyone is am alpha male and everyone is right. Hard job if you don't have tough skin and and strong will. You will be pushed.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

More money would be nice. For a job that is vital to the world and the economy I would have expected to be getting paid more or have it even out with some awesome benefits.

I worked at BCI full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The largest retailer in the fur business.Ability to serve the customer from purchase ,storage and remodel.

    Cons

The fur category is shrinking dramatically and rapidly as their customer is aging out.Over the last 5 years seeing their stores drop over 40% in volume.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do not blame the store level managers for a decrease in sales ,most store managers are highly talented and motivated. This is a far larger problem.

    Doesn't Recommend

    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at BCI

    Pros

BCI has great people to work with
    Some excellent products
    To get behind
Loads of potential for the future
    Decent benefits

    Cons

Continual turmoil at every level even before the Danaher acquisition makes BCI a difficult place to trust. Additionally many of the business systems are broken or overlapping to the point of becoming nonfunctional. It is only the common sense of a few that has kept the lights on.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Communicate communicate communicate. Understand that communication is not a one way effort from top down. It is essential to get on the ground and ask questions and learn.
