It is good for a start

Research Trainee (Current Employee)
Ghaziabad (India)

I have been working at BCIL as an intern for less than a year

ProsProvides better platform for bio technologists as there are very less options available for students from areas where there is less scope.

ConsPlacement issues. After 6 months we should be placed right after the completion of training.

Advice to Senior Managementwork for a better future.

The best of Buddies to share knowledge and at the same time have fun

Architect (Former Employee)

I worked at BCIL full-time for less than a year

ProsCool Atmosphere.
You decide your own deadlines which makes you responsible.
There is a very strong level of interaction between all the different departments therefore errors can be avoided at the start itself.
Almost every Thursday a presentation's made. Nice pad to expand knowledge and meet prominent persons.

ConsExternal consultants affect the total planning done there by dragging the work unnecessarily. You are at there mercy.
Any Architectural practice needs to have a good Library section.

Advice to Senior ManagementNeed to make those external consultants as in-house or see to it that they stick to your schedule.
Streamlining different departments is required.

a roller coaster ride

Architect (Current Employee)
Bangalore (India)

I have been working at BCIL

ProsIt is a company with a very unique and sacred thought towards work and sustainability, and has complted several noteworthy projects in bangalore

ConsThe 'WHAT" of doing is defined, but 'HOW' is very unclear and even though enough opportuinities are provided to experiment to create the HOW, but none of them are implemented. Decision making power in the company is very poor.

Advice to Senior ManagementOnce things are defined, pprocesses and systems set in place, the decisions should ideally fall in place. Kindly concentrate on the same.
