Pros
Lots of opportunites to learn and do new assignments in many sectors across the whole of the GCC. Seriously amazing.
Cons
lack of databases
lack of management support in many service lines
for the less proactive people, no real work experience
Advice to Senior Management
Create continuity between offices across MENSA
Also create brand standards that have to be adhered to by company peer review (no other practice will work.)
Pros

people at lower levels are quite nice
Cons
management made out bdo all about the employee, complete lie, so many hidden agenda and politics
no appreciation or recognition for any hard work you put in
not flexible with people
job is completely depressing
Advice to Senior Management
stop being so underhand
Pros
Consistent raises each year. The pay is higher than at one of the big four firms. The clients are generally in the middle market range. Travelling is optional and you can specify the degree tow hich you wish to travel in you performance review each year. There are opportunities to travel all over the world in audit. It is fairly easy to transfer within the company as they are easy to deal with. The employees are great to work with and the partners are easy to get along with and respectful towards the employees at all levels of the organization.
Cons
BDO is a smaller firm and tends to have smaller clients. If you want to be dealing with huge, well known, companies all the time then you would be happier at one of the big four.
Advice to Senior Management
Keep up the good work
