    Pros

The people working at this location are always friendly and helpful. The industry is great- Aerospace is very interesting and challenging.

    Cons

The pay is $20K lower than the national average. Production is always full, so it is difficult to schedule orders.

    Advice to Management

-Increasing pay would greatly increase morale. Being as the pay is $20K under average, it is difficult to justify the amount of stressful work for the amount being paid.

    Pros

Great industry with solid long term growth. Lots of opportunities to make a difference if you put in the effort.

    Cons

Very engineering driven company but engineering is not held as accountable as other functions. Need to deliver at all costs so hours can be crazy at times.

    Pros

Working at B/E can be exciting knowing that you are contributing to the aerospace industry also becoming familiar with internal mechanical parts is very interesting.

    Cons

on the other hand, there are too many regime changes and every single time they start out as know-it-alls and do not want to listen to experience. Also these 30somethings don't mind lieing to climb or get there way, this is the brat era that does not care about true business.

    Advice to Management

Spend more time getting to know the product and how it is produced, don't sit up in your perch and create sensless charts that reflect nothing.

    Pros

I appreciate many of the people I work with. They are resourceful and hard working individuals. Employee retention is high. The assignments are often challenging.

    Cons

The schedules are very aggressive. The work is demanding in terms of time and effort. Long hours beyond 5pm is the norm. There are times when weekends become work days too.

    Advice to Management

Wining bids is crucial to enduring business but without allowing proper time and resources to complete projects successfully, the risk of delivering lawed products becomes higher.

    Pros

Great and dedicated coworkers. Challenging, yet rewarding product lines. Relatively clean and comfortable work environment. That's about all that I can come up with.

    Cons

Management is terrible and not at all qualified. Disorganized. Poor communication. Poor drawings and work instructions. Low salary caps. Benefits are much more expensive than they were before Emteq, Inc. was bought by B/E Aerospace, despite being promised that benefits wouldn't change. B/E Aerospace also took away all bonuses and gain sharing. Stressful work environment due to horrible and dishonest managers. Very low employee morale.

    Advice to Management

Replace managers and supervisors as soon as possible. Stop trying to run the New Berlin facility like a company with a small product line. We have a huge product line that simply can't operate the way B/E's other facilities operate. Focus more on updating and correcting drawings and work instructions and watch productivity and on time delivery soar. Be honest with your employees. No one trusts a thing that supervisors and management says.

    Pros

Benefits are great and the people doing production are great to work with.

    Cons

Management needs to be improved a lot. The buyers that get the supplies for building the seats don't do a very good job either.

    Advice to Management

    Get people that actually care.

    Pros

Great leadership opportunities. This is a fast paced atmosphere, and if you can succeed in your job function there is room for advancement. You will learn many facets of the industry and gain skills to further your career

    Cons

There is a poor work-life balance. Even if you go the extra mile, there is always a mention that someone else is always outworking you. The culture of this business has much room for improvement. Very stressful atmosphere

    Advice to Management

Take time to observe the challenges burdening the working level employees. Be proactive in planning and not constantly reactive. Stop using the term "We are having growing pains" to substantiate a poor work environment. Make your prize employees feel rewarded instead of over-burdened.
