- Most employee friendly practices
- Great strategy and execution. Poised for leadership in cloud arena
- Culture of learning and development

- High pressure environment due to growth in business
- Differentiated rewards in practice of performance management. Great compensation for good performers, but those just meeting expectations tend to not see too many raises
Advice to Senior Management
- Stay tuned to the organization perspectives at the lower levels
- Continue good people management practices
Pros
It is one of the leading companies in cloud space now a days (2011) and if you want to participate in cloud race this would be one of the places that you would think of working.

Being a product based company you don't get to work on cutting edge technologies every time.

Does not pay loyal employees (Pays market salary while joining)
HR reads policies literally, instead of 'in spirit'
Facilities not good - phones/projector, take time to setup

Please pay market salaries to the best employees, dont forget those people who have been around for a while
Continue to have great programs like 'Bindaas Masti club'
CEO visit gives a great boost to the site, please continue that

They pay competitively compared to market place and opportunities for growth exist. Scope of creating technical and innovative course ware

Lack of transparency is some decisions and appraisal process not defined very accurately. Frustrating to get stuck on technical issues and management issues sometimes.

One can maintain work and personal life balance due to work from home facility. BMC facilities like food, premises, overall BMC culture, activities are very good. The most important is it is at heart of city , very good for married women employees
Cons
If you are part of QA organization you are unlucky, there will be no hikes fro many years, or whenever are done it will be given to only few of the team. No discussions before appraisals and performance bonus pay. Few years back there were facilities like vehicle loan, housing loan repay, Wealth creation, company used to pay some part of amount on yearly basis, they are not there

You should focus QA org, afterall Quality Matters
