I worked at BMO Financial Group (More than a year)

    Pros

Competitive salary, good health benefits, coworkers are nice, but competitive

    Cons

SELL SELL SELL, fake customer service plagued with selling, do not care about employees well-being or mental health. Also you are clocked the amount of time you spend on bathroom breaks. Not empathetic with people with health problems.

    Advice to Management

    Stop selling, start fixing problems

I worked at BMO Financial Group full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The company over all is a great company to work for. great insurance, 401k, pension

    Cons

worked in the collection department, the quality your required to up hold is 99.9% 1 call and you fail. 4 months of failing you loose your employment. I worked for BMO for over 7 years. The last 2 years were a nightmare. I was stressed all the time. The supervisors were stressed. No job is worth what they put you through. We lost sight of Customer service. The requirement to remember for the job was a 2 inch notebook as well as 3 page call quality to pass each call. your calling 1400 to 1800 calls per month. highly stressful job.

    Advice to Management

Get back to grading fairly. Do make call quality the only part of the over all job. There is so many other parts to the job. sad when 1 call each month could effect you having a job. need to change the grading so that you don't loose all your seasoned collectors
