Great place for job security and benefits but no career growth and too much politics

    Pros

Great place for job security. Great benefits. Good team of people. Easy interview process. Great community service and charity programs. Very much involved in the community....401k dollar to dollar match...pension plan...good health insurance

    Cons

Big company. Politics. Not many growth opportunities. Pay is average. Not a really good employee review system. BMO does not let go of people easily....this can be a good and a bad thing....takes forever to get better technology to do your work....typical corporate structure

    Advice to Management

Please dont be afraid to fire unproductive people and pay hard working employees more. Way too many pencil pushers....Overemployed...Invest in technology not just for the customer but also for the employee who make it happen

    Pros

The location to public transportation is ideal

    Cons

When tasked with an assignment, management has no idea what is going on nor do the individuals who swear they desperately need a report, query, etc. The communication between different departments is atrocious. No one wants to take accountability for their actual work.

    Advice to Management

Communication. Work on actually knowing what is going on and address the elephants at the table.

    Pros

Many highly skilled and kind co-workers

    Cons

you will never advance in this company. Management only communicate amongst themselves and when the do talk to you it is in a very condescending manner. You will receive very little training because management does not have any set procedures.

    Advice to Management

Open your eyes and get off your high horse.

    Pros

I liked my team we all got along and the perks from the company is great and I loved the wonderful customers that I had a chance to meet.

    Cons

The goals were ridiculous and they are very unfair with how the system is structured. My location always micromanaged us and we were always threatened with termination. I was not fun working there anymore because the managers hated each other and it was like being in a daily cat fight with unprofessional people

    Advice to Management

Management needs to stop being power drunk and I’m not speaking for all locations. The sales force system and they way they do referrals needs to change and maybe then they will stop loosing employees. Don’t make it so hard for employees to explore other options in other departments and stop threatening your employees when they want to move within the company. I lasted four years I wanted to last longer but I couldn’t take it anymore
