BMO has excellent benefits as compared to most companies today.

    Pros

    Pay is decent. Benefits good.

    Cons

The company is not walking their talk regarding customer and community. There is less and less focus on markets outside of CHI and MLK. Unless you live in Chicago there is no room for career progression even with technology today. In my experience, my manager (in another state) could care less about what I did or career development.

    Advice to Management

The culture that has been created is not a positive one. People are unhappy with the constant push to make unrealistic goals and don't feel as if their voice is heard or that anyone really wants to listen.

    Pros

Great banking products that make it easy to help fill customer needs

    Cons

minimal to no growth within a branch or ability to make it to the corporate level. Leads to hostility with peers and upper management. Corporate want branches to push electronic/ online banking which eliminates the need for tellers.

    Advice to Management
