    Pros

BMO has excellent benefits as compared to most companies today.

    Cons

If working in a downtown location, paying for parking can be expensive.

    Pros

I've had very good managers. I've been given the support I need. Attainable sales goals. Good benefits. Company truly cares about community.

    Cons

Pay. Traffic in my specific branch is slow, which makes the day go by very slow.

    Pros

The company really takes care of their interns and treats them as part of the team. Overall, this was a fantastic experience. They also hosted different events for interns to get to know each other.

    Cons

It's really hard to get a full time job offer after graduation. My supervisor wanted to hire me and couldn't.

    Advice to Management

Please provide more opportunities for interns to get hired after graduation, that's supposed to be one of the perks of an internship!

    Pros

Job is relatively easy to learn. I love working with customers.

    Cons

Goals are a bit unrealistic for one to achieve. The branch I worked for did not put family first. Had to fight for days off.

    Advice to Management

Lower the unrealistic sales goals for the front line.

    Pros

Good company to work for. The pay is great and the benefits are not bad at all. The schedule can be really good, they give a set schedule and when a different time is available they'll ask if you want to switch. Also, you can move to different departments after 3 months.

    Cons

They're very aggressive with sales. We are required to get referrals, which is not the hard part, but they are supposed to book and we have to rely on the sales team to call customers back or follow up and a lot of the times there's no follow up. I've had customers call and said they were expecting a call back weeks ago or days past what they were told.

    Advice to Management

Work with us just how we have to work and rely on our sales team.

    Pros

There is a good immediate team and good work/life balance. There are enough tools to use to make the job effective and the company is good in terms of compensation.

    Cons

Bmo seems to have a lot of money but is very inefficient with it. Seems like they do not have a clear goal and tend to contract things out that would be better to do in house. There are still too many silos and definitely a rift between Canada and U.S. In terms of management.

    Advice to Management

Need to have more focus on efficiency, cut useless red tape. In order to keep good employees there needs to be a better system to train and let them grow in the company.

    Pros

    Good benefits, ok salary

    Cons

operations are a mess, can not seem to fix process and sure don't have the people in place who care. Its 2015 and you still here people say, "that's not my job" Chicago mentality spread through out the organization.

    Advice to Management

Understand Canada is different than the US... work on leadership not management... if you want to compete.. you need to set higher service standards internally also
