There is no plan for trainings in chennai location for employees.That is needed for employees as part of career oportunities.
Pros
exposiure. good name bank if you want to break into finance. Ability to reach out to many counterparties and research.
Its an interesting mix of many different nationalities of the employees in singapore, from all around the world.
Cons
poor poor company culture. You wont be recognized for the work you have done, and the traders have a very very poor approach towards organic growth, this is probably why most of their senior management are all outward hires.
Advice to Senior Management
Look towards growing your talent pool, instead of cutting back on all your graduate program candidates. c'mon these guys are the future of your company, with no succession plans, its no wonder the bank is in shambles

Interesting job and pleasant colleagues. The people at BNP are usually both smart and team players. IT fonctions work adequatly.

Management in my Business line was not enough involved to understand what was going wrong in my team. Not enough global thinking

Evaluate better your staff and offer more opportunities to grow competencies. A better bottom up management would make it a great place to work.

Nice mix of people work at BNP. Time off is liberal compared to most American companies. Work environment is collegial for the most part.
Cons
Lower salaries than other companies for comparable positions. Disorganized Human Resources and lack of interest in keeping employees over the long term. Significant turn over resulting from lack of attention to employee needs. Salaries are very inconsistent for the same position.
