BOCM PAULS Customer Servies Operator: (Past Employee - 2007)

“Poor employment package but my colleagues were wonderful and made it bearable.”

Pros

The people I worked with on a daily basis were great, the camaraderie made the job a lot more bearable. We did get an opportunity to build good relationships with customers, some of whom were wonderful people.

Cons

The salary was poor and conflict occured quite often between employees. The blame culture was quite strong when I worked there and the system of traceability meant that they could always find out who had made the mistakes. Customers could be very rude and occassionally quite abusive.

Advice to Senior Management

Establish a career development plan for the employees at the bottom of the ladder because things can seem very bleak down there if there's no possibilities for moving forward.
