    Slow, complex, bureucratic supporting processes that impede business growth and personal development.

    Simplify the way we work, or lose good people whom care most for the business.
    Leave the decisions to the business and hold them responsible, rather than micromanage to a state of unacceptable delay.

    The people are BT's biggest asset.

    Cons

    Extremely bureaucratic. Way too much red tape.
    Dogmatic in employee appraisals... not so much meritocratic but "does it fit the bell curve"

    Global company with lots of opporunities to grow in different roles.

    Cons

    No Payrise, No Bonusses, HR is always trying to get the best for the least, management focuss on short term results only

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    do not only look at short term results but also at long term. Do use the knowledge and skills of your people and do not let the good ones leave just because you ant to save cost.
