    Pros

    The money was somewhat decent. I enjoyed working with the other servers.

    Cons

    The management! At first they were great but their true colors will come out I promise you that. They act like everything they do is a favor to you. Plus the paisano partner and the chef will scream at you because they are having a bad day. I truly felt I would be there for several years because I looked forward to going in. But after 2 years it was draining. I had no personal life and worked every single holiday. Plus they wouldn't allow you to bring in a sandwich or granola bar if you got hungry. It was very in humane to work us 14 hours with no break and no food.

    Advice to Management

    Take care of us! You don't realize how much we sacrifice for you and go out of our way to help the restaurant. You say you take care of us but quit acting its a favor to us. I would have stayed if it wasn't for management. It's a solid restaurant with delicious food. But quit allowing your managers to abuse its staff

    Pros

    Fun atmosphere and concept. The management was alright.

    Cons

    Restaurant wasn't busy. Customers sometimes didn't understand family style concept.

    Pros

    There's a bit of freedom to do your job without being micromanaged . salary and benefits are above average in the industry.

    Cons

    Job duties are unreasonable in the amount of work you're expected to do; too many projects for the time and resources provided. No sense of teamwork, company views employees as easily replaceable. Managers are overworked and undervalued (and under compensated) for performing outside of their job responsibilities. Procedures and standards are ever changing,

    Advice to Management

    Begin including management of company plans, offer an open door policy and discontinue gossip, make leadership's plan clear, stop keeping secrets, lengthen training for new team members, and start valuing the loyal employees you have while you have them.

    Pros

    Great camaraderie, used to have a great training program. The culture of the company was fun, guests were always impressed with the large portions and small basement-like dining rooms. Flexible schedule, opportunities for internal advancement.

    Cons

    Larger more corporate feel than in years past when it wasn't owned by a corporate restaurant company. Training program waxes and wanes.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the training program and be consistent.

    Pros

    Great Staff, everyone is so friendly and I felt like Buca Di Beppo became my second home and family.

    Cons

    Hostess do not get paid any tips only the delivery staff get paid tips and it takes about 5 months to move up to delivery

    Pros

    If the location has auto gratuity then you can put up with the terrible customers and constant coupons. I graduated and found a much better job, head that route if you can.

    Cons

    Back breaking service, very degrading, management is pretty self centered and unsupportive, company as a whole does not keep their promises.

    Advice to Management

    Provide more incentive for all of the hard work and follow through on promises.

    Pros

    When they would role out the new menus and we would spend a day trying all the new food

    The management and no appreciation for employees.

    Pros

    People have to tip well because its so expensive, big parties typically mean big money as well and theres lots of those

    Cons

    You work every holiday whether you want to or not. Didnt seat my mother in my section on mothers day even when she requested it.

    Advice to Management

    some time off, and pick one manager to run the place not different managers with different rules

    Pros

    The food and the regulars

    Cons

    Where to start! The company will not repair or replace faulty equipment. They are obsessed with costs at the expense of the guest experience and employee morale. They are actually anti christian and "turn & burn" is the name of the game with managers.

    Advice to Management

    You have destroyed a once fun and successful restaurant concept with your style of management.
