    Pros

Benefits and summer flex schedule are great aspects of working here. The MBA is offered free to employees too.

    Cons

silos are prevalent. It's hard to meet others outside your department. It may be hard to get to if you live in Boston. Housing costs are outrageous.

    Advice to Management

    nothing to add here

    Pros

I worked for three bosses and each nicer than the other. They were extremely helpful and patiently taught me great plains.

    Cons

After working for more than few months, it can get repetitive.

I worked at Babson College part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Small campus so it was close by. I was able to work on homework and such when it was not busy.

    Cons

There are not many cons to on campus employment. I suppose it may have been preferable if one was able to somehow 'advance'.

    Advice to Management

Improve the payment system with direct-deposit. Improve the time-sheet system by putting it online instead of the very old fashion punch-card system.

Pick qualified managers capable of making competent and emotionally intelligent decisions

I have been working at Babson College full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Many paid holidays, flex hours during Summer, beautiful place to work. Each branch of the school definitely feels like a small community. Perks such as the free gym/pool use are great.

    Cons

A ton of silos within the college, pay is lower than other schools in area, hard to get to if you live in Boston/Cambridge. Senior leadership is reluctant to change and very bureaucratic, which stands in stark contrast with the "entrepreneurial" spirit that the school is supposed to have.

    Advice to Management

Practice what you preach! It has simply floored me since my first day here how slow-moving and stuck the management seems. As a day to day job Babson is great, but I am definitely somewhat skeptical about the future of the school.

    Pros

love working with students, great mission, beautiful campus and resources

    Cons

departments keep to themselves - not lots of sharing of resources or ideas - lots of behind the scenes politics - most of the people were great, but a few of the key people were awful to work with and made it a difficult and stressful place to work
