    Sports can be fun

    Customer Service Representative (Former Employee)

ProsCo-workers are always willing to help out and friendly people, office culture, working in sports, friendly customers, many long time employees, CEO who cares

ConsGoals and being out of stock with items was frustrating and the occasional defect or problem which gets a rude response from customer. Never enough time to get everything done.

Advice to Senior ManagementMake the employees feel like you care

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Fun place for sporty people to work, growing established company, potential for career growth

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsCompetitive pay, opportunities for career growth & advancement, PTO, overall fun environment & good people to work with, flexible hours (for some positions), lots of variety, opportunities for cross-training & learning new skills, potential for the company to really take off with new product development

ConsLack of support from management, many employees are overworked without help, unbalanced workloads, employees are kept out of the loop

Advice to Senior ManagementProvide opportunities for employees to share their concerns without fear of reprimand for their honesty. Many employees were not happy but experienced that nothing would be done to improve things or they worried that they would be punished for voicing their concerns.

Encourage more teamwork and make sure workloads are evenly distributed. I saw many employees spending hours a day socializing and goofing off while others were in tears from being so overwhelmed by their workload. Make sure you are aware of what your employees are doing and what they're responsible for so they are not overwhelmed.

Keep employees informed of what's going on. Word spreads quickly so you may as well make sure they're getting accurate information rather than rumors.

Find ways to compensate employees for jobs well done. Even if a small raise is not possible, a paid afternoon off here and there can make a big difference.

There's a lot of great employees there with a lot of potential. Make sure you are nurturing and growing your team continually and you'll have a powerhouse. Don't hang on to those who are consistently lacking or toxic to the culture; they will bring the whole team down and cause the good ones to leave.

    Baden Sports Review

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsSteady employment, built in customer base, great for people with a sports background. Great co-workers and office environment. Strong senior leadership.

ConsLow pay. Small ticket items that don't add up quickly. Not much opportunity for advancement or growth within the company. Larger competitors offer similar products and far lower prices making it difficult to compete.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
