I worked at Badenoch & Clark full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good managers in general, and colleagues are great socially. Professionalism varies from department to department, but overall atmosphere is collegiate - almost like undergraduates who outgrew university in some negative aspects, but people work hard and play hard together.

    Cons

Career path seems clear, but criteria for promotion is often arbitrary. Base salary pitched lower than most competitors. Culture took a knock when Adecco acquired the firm which led to several departures of longstanding B&C senior management. Too many leavers and hires in my time which made environment feel generally unstable.

I worked at Badenoch & Clark full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Transparent career progression targets, strong client relationship portfolio, positive culture, good social scene, and a professional but fun place to work.

    Cons

Slightly below average salary levels, didn't enjoy working for the manager i had there and was only really given the option of putting up and shutting up or leaving, so I left. Also didn't tend to involve newer staff members in thought leadership sessions, even if they were pretty experienced hires. Bias towards making their graduate hires successful over their lateral hires, and as such qwuite a clique environment at times.

I have been working at Badenoch & Clark

    Pros

Great culture to work within that encourgaes teamwork and yet rewrads individual performance.

    Cons

Not too many...I have worked at many companies and think it is better than the majority

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

In current times it is tough to say excatly what is the right thing to do. It is easy to look at things in retrospect and say we could have done things better. I think all in all we have faired and behaved well during the crisis
