    Pros

Good pay, good benefits. When times are good, everyone is very well off.

    Cons

When times are bad, management tends to lay off workers quickly and secretly.

    Advice to Management

Look to the long term, not just the short term struggles.

    Pros

A great environment to work in. Everyone is friendly, task oriented, and focused. The benefits are also a great incentive to work here.

    Cons

In this role it can be challenging to fully understand the industry if coming in as an external candidate. You have to catch on quick and utilize all the resources offered to you. The business practices are a little outdated.

    Advice to Management

Prepare your direct reports for the next phase or level in their career progression. Also, allow employees the time to interface with others throughout the organization.

    Pros

Great people, plenty of hours, management always willing to help and answer questions. Really big on safety and trucks are fairly in good shape.

    Cons

Lay-offs. Every now and then documents tend to get lost. Management is reactive to situations not proactive to issues or opportunities

    Advice to Management

Opportunities for improvements will always be identified if you look closely.

    Pros

This is a company with a great name attached. It looks well on a resume. Will learn a great deal.

    Cons

If you are hired on as a full time, don't have any expectations on promotions. They will give you the run around and use you up for the highly reduced pay. Managers are very hush hush.

    Advice to Management

Be up front, live up to the core values that the company boasts so much about.
