I have been working at Bally Total Fitness full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Super chill work environment. Get to wear sweats, nikes, and t-shirt to work. Very good pay. If you hustle can even make much more.

    Cons

The only con I can think of is when you start in the sales team the only leads you can use are basically the cold internet leads. You get no walk ins (which are the easiest to sell). At least this is how it was at my gym. This did make me a hustler though.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

One of my general managers micromanaged. No need to micromanage in sales. Simply fire them.

    Pros

You can work out for free, and you get to meet all kinds of people you would have never met before.

    Cons

-Your salary is directly tied to your ability to schedule appointments and sell packages. Better have your entire week booked to the max to make any real money.
-Good luck getting anybody to sign up for over 1000 dollars worth of training in a none wealthy area.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Don't mislead anybody.
