    Pros

Unique Employee Benefits: monthly birthday celebration, prizes to win on your birthday, impressive client list, pizza lunch, fitness room, massage chair

    Cons

Low salary, competitive and supportive team environment, employee turnover was about 6 months. Employees were let go before probation period so the company does not have to pay them any benefits and still get to take advantage of cheap labour.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do not dispose your employees before the training period is over. You may be surprised what people can accomplish given a better work environment and motivating compensation structure.

I have been working at Bam Strategy full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

It's ideal for building a CV and gain a marketing experience. Because they do a lot of developing and they offer a lot of services (all in one), it allows employees to move within the agency and learn different vocations. Great work environment. Good food. The atmosophere is incredible.

You will grow up in the industry with many of them, should you choose to stay.

    Cons

Overall, the business seems to be declining.

No career growth, bad managers (micro managing, disrespectful of subordinates, inconsiderate, closed to suggestions and ideas, unreasonable demands/expectations, create a very stressful environment, meaningless processes) , no respect for meeting times, many long time employees who are not very productive, bad appraisal process and they hire very average employees.

BAM Strategy was never a stable work environment, employee turn-around was always high. It often felt like a sweatshop, especially to those working in the development side. Too many politics. Constantly re-adjust the function.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Increase average salary as well as end of year bonus. Create more of a meritocracy within.

    Pros

None. They will over work you and under pay you. After working in this field for over 20 years I can honestly say that it was the worst experience I have ever had.

    Cons

Everything about working there. They treat people horribly.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Stop treating people like crap.

    Pros

Location is great. Located at old port montreal. if you are young and outgoing, this is the place to be. There is plenty of events happening at bam, most people are outgoing and young.

    Cons

not suitable if you are trying to build a family. activities and events are geared towards a younger crowd. work load is rather bland, copy paste what works well, and there isn't much time given to improve the process.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    listen more to the employee.
