Pros
Big company, great compensations, pays all of the extra hours of work, a big variety of opportunities, leader of the industry in Brazil, expanding to Latin America, always breaking profiting records.
Cons
Downsizing its structure besides record profits, pressure for 150% of the goals, big quantity of tasks to do in daily routine with short schedules.
Advice to Senior Management
Be more communicative about the chances the bank is passing thru, give more support and training to the employees before they start.
Pros
Is one of the largest bank in Brazil. Many opportunities inside there, diversity and a funny place!
Cons
Lots of bureaucracy and it's rare to be recognized for you job. Salaries are not good.

basically if you are leving college Itaú could be one of your choices.
At bank engineers are the most common group of undergratuades.
the company have several programs in order to boost your academic profile. for instance MBA programs which covers all expenses for two years.

management lacks communication skills

Usually all performance reviews are based on relationship instead of pure performance achieviments
promotions only occurs if you know someone at board or director level.

Pros
Good balance work/life with competitive compensation. Leader in Latin America in his business. Less work hours than investment bankings and management consulting. The game is simple: With you do your work you will earn more money, if you run to the "extra mile" you will have a better bonus and got a promotion.
Cons
Big structure can difficult changes, for example if you will be trasfer to an abroad office the HR departament problably will spend a lot of weeks to finish the process. If you not a outstanding your growning rate in the company will be slow.
