Pros
Great Health Benefits.
Relaxed Work Environment.
Company Events.
Bandai has a great, beautiful building, easy to get a long with staff, and ice cream Fridays!
The multi-cultured staff comprising mostly Japanese and American Employees certainly has a unique feel to it. Probably the best part, other than the great health coverage, are the company events and themed days. That part really brings people together.
Cons
Employee Reviews and Promotions are normally done only once per year.
Salary paid to employees could be a bit higher.
Although communication is pretty good... I wish there was a comment box and I guess more of a feeling that employees are within the company's talks of the company's future.

Keep up the great company events and morale boosting activities.
Do promotions more than once per year.

Provide comprehensive leadership training to senior management.
Pros
Bandai offers full service health benefits that most companies stopped offering their employees 20 years ago. And, they manage to continue to offer to their employees at no cost to them! Also, Bandai promotes a healthy work/life balance by encouraging their employees to only spend the amount of time necessary each day to get the job done. A casual dress code also promotes an easy-going environment that allows creativity to flow.
Cons
The company is Japanese and encourages promotions of their own ex patriate employees over the American local hires. With little advancement opportunities and continuous cultural differences among all the employees, work can be difficult to complete and often times the job can suffer.
Advice to Senior Management
Senior management needs to be in closer touch with the American marketplace and to rely on the advice of their American hires to provide much needed assistance to create a more successful business strategy.
