Pros
Good benefits, large company so can move anywhere, vast products offered to customers, wonderful access to systems when employee is away from work. User friendly associate internal website.
Cons
Inept management, ineffective communication of changes, lack of respect for associates, management lacks professionalism, management not willing to develop associates, low pay in comparison to other banks. Management continues to promise promotions but they never materialize. Goals change monthly, making it more difficult or impossible for associate to achieve.
Advice to Senior Management
Educate yourself. This will ensure you don't feel threatened when a talented, educated associate steps up to the plate.

Perks
Transportation reimbursement
Education reimbursement if you are attending classes ore enrolled in college.
Time off to car for your children or partner if they are sick.
Health benefits for partners including gay couples or parents.
Eye, dental, medical, and life insurance are all offered even to part-time employees.
Cons
Low starting salary
choice of when to take vacation goes to those with seniority
Advancement opportunities are lackluster.
You are the face of BofA therefore you receive all of the customers' wrath for things you cannot control or did not do.
Advice to Senior Management
Management should not try so hard to reach sales goals on the back of customers who cannot afford to have credit cards etc. Putting Americans in debt is just one example of how greedy corporations have become. I would constantly have to try to sell customers credit cards and lines of credit that they did not want. Does BofA really think customers are worth more than the money they make off of them? I think not.
Pros
Wonderful work environment and allot of positive people
Cons
Sometimes the managers of the site can be on a power trip.
Advice to Senior Management
Wonderful work environment and allot of positive people thank u for providing the opportunity for the work experience and job
Pros
Wonderful benefits. Employee Help line that aides in fair treatment of employees. Wonderful perks in loans, credit cards and interest rates.
Cons
Work life balance is kinda off. Cold calling and call nights got old very quickly. Raises are not as much as they should be.
Advice to Senior Management
Promote people even if they are excelling at their sales. Allow them a fair shot of moving into another role.
Pros
Benefits are good as well as paid holidays off.
Cons
No matter how well you do they will try and hold you back for promotion. They treat their employees like crap and expect you to work for pennies. I wouldn't suggest working for this company there are other financial institutions that will treat you better and pay and give recognition for all your hard work.
Pros
The health benefits package
the bonuses
the people you work with
Cons
The calls from customers
asking for time off was hard
the constant selling
the hours that you had to work
only able to get off the phone on your breaks
Advice to Senior Management
Management needs to reward their employees more. The compensation was really bad with what you are doing. I feel the moral at the company is really low. I would suggest that you put the power back into the employees.
Pros
Benefits, Well known company, Flexibilty
Cons
Reputation and Customer Dissatisfaction, Negative Media Attention
Advice to Senior Management
Your employees are your most valuable asset
Pros
Stature of working for the biggest bank in the industry.
Cons
B of A places too much value on six sigma. I felt like there was too much a process for everything and client management is not a position that needs strict adherence to process management.
Pros
Open opportunities for employees and Contractors! Many FTE positions!
Cons
Must know someone to obtain FTE positions.
