I have been working at Bank of America full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good Pay and Benefits Not a lot of stress 4 Weeks Paid Vacation Great Direct Boss and Co-Workers (for the most part)

    Cons

A lot of red tape and hoops to jump through Pretty boring and monotonous Heavy male dominated industry, as well as an older crowd Not a lot of creativity Constant worry about being laid off

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to the employees and put yourself in the shoes of the lower-level employees. How can you make their job easier and more efficient? Way too many hoops and red tape to jump through these days. Their hands may be tied but it can be frustrating being a front line employee.

I have been working at Bank of America full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I have worked with incredibly bright analysts and frequently feel challenged by the type of work I have queued up. Good benefits, time off, maternity leave, etc.

    Cons

It's a big, big company - it can be difficult to see how your work & effort impacts the company overall.

I have been working at Bank of America (More than 5 years)

    Pros

All the various benefits (vac pay, full insurance, 401k, tuition reimbursement, corporate discounts) just to name a few. I have worked for two financial centers and my experience was above average most of the time. I am thankful for this cause each store and neighborhood of the branch can bring different experiences and challenges.

    Cons

Like any corporation it is easy to become a lame duck at Bank of America. At time it feels like the "executive leaders" are unsure of which direction the company should head towards. Every year we are focusing on something different, it can become annoying.

    Advice to Management

Stay consistent in the direction the company will be headed in the future. Take a stand to address customer service and customer wait times.
