    Pros

Great Benefits, employee discounts are pretty good, perk not to pay for bank account services and having paid federal holidays off is nice bonus. Coworkers have always had great personalities, a lot of fun to work with.

    Cons

Sales pressure is on at all times, not enough staff on hand to provide excellent service to customers, and tellers are down to one at majority of locations. Stressful environment. Customers treat you like emotional doormats if you let them.

    Advice to Management

Stop putting your employees at risk by leaving only one teller behind the line. Lobby Leaders are not always there to deter individuals up to no good.

    Pros

Good benefits, room to grow, most employees focused on the customers and the share holders.

    Cons

Hard to get things done with so many stakeholders/approvals. Constant change in org chart makes it difficult to establish solid working relationships with others.

    Advice to Management

Give your experienced employees the ability to make quick decisions.

    Pros

Good PTO! Paternity is 3 months for men and women! Decent healthcare. Good 401k. If you're driven and ambitious to take on additional work/responsibility, it is fairly easy to rise through the corporate ladder.

    Cons

Line of work sucks but that's operations for ya! It's all monkey business but that's what you're paid to be.

    Advice to Management

    Be better leaders....

    Pros

they used to pay well, have interesting stretch assignments, and value their employees. if you're lucky, maybe you can still find a team like this at the firm

    Cons

they are driving down comp for the majority, experience has been devalued, jobs have become bland and boring, the few do a lot and many sit in meetings most of their day. talent and team building is a thing of the past, lack of career path

    Advice to Management

stop stepping on people to further your careers, learn about organic growth, maybe take some courses on team and talent building, study definition of loyalty

    Pros

    There is no company uniform.

    Cons

Ridiculous and unattainable Goals with no rewards.

    Advice to Management

Please take action when employees keep complaining to HR about one manager in particular. Also there is no way for employees to rate managers so their input is never taken into account. Managers become dictators and employees have no say. Please come up with a way employees can rate management.

    Pros

Benefits comparable with other companies in the industry. Company large enough where you can make innumerable lateral moves. Moving up the ladder will take great political skills, many late nights, and an iron clad liver because most of the important meetings during untie happened during happy hour.

    Cons

Like most companies if you're in a support role you're under appreciated until there is disaster that could've been avoided because you were warning them many many months in advance. There is lots of redundancy in roles which leads to constant layoffs, but there is so much churn at the senior management level that it seems as though they will never get to a point where there's not excessive waste this leading to the constant massive layoffs. And for those who may be thinking the layoffs were in response to the housing crisis in my first week at the bank well before the crash two people on the team I was hired to work on wee laid off. Layoffs are as much a part of the culture as the "free checking."

    Advice to Management

Be honest, be fair, and don't punish people's careers simply because they don't want to go out drinking with you every week.
