Pros
Great Advantages: Markets valued teamwork, cheerful and engaging employees, health benefits, 401k, pensions, paid vacation, tuition reimbursement, growth opportunities within the banking center, off and be paid on federal holidays, and volunteering opportunities.
Cons
Growth from banking center to corporate rate is small, currently the job security is poor, demanding job for sales platform positions, constant changes in regulations and policies, too many conference calls, unnecessary paper work overload, constant negativity from the media which reflect on and directly affect front line employees that work in the banking center, and constant bashing from customers because of fees and more fees.
Advice to Senior Management
Management needs to consider customer wants and employees capabilities when making decisions regarding new policies or new fees. Employees do not want to be overworked and feel as though they're not being compensated enough for the amount of work they do. And customers want benefits and advantages not more fees assessed to their accounts.
Pros
The financial and other compensation benefits are very sufficient. i enjoy working and learning from the people at this firm.
Cons
There is a lot of uncertainty regarding the financial and operational health of this firm and my current employee status.
Advice to Senior Management
Provide more information to the employees regarding the future of the Company an its employees. Better reviews and information about employees performance and expectations.
Pros
Bank of America has a plethora of policies and processes on project management and six sigma. They have good training and allow a person to improve there marketability through internal training.
Cons
Bank of America has a plethora of policies and processes on project management and six sigma. They don't always follow the procedures and sometimes follow the procedures when not needed.
Advice to Senior Management
Do not try to force IT projects into a six sigma mold. Create a exasperate process that utilizes the concepts of six sigma when needed but has terminology more closely related to the general best practices.
